About her
I am an artist, who has been painting for the last forty years. I am still trying to figure it all out. Without doubt art makes me happy, well most of the time. I love visiting galleries and museums mainly in London. My studio is a short walk from where I live which enables me to be free of the constraints of the home. I love, the ballet, opera, theatre, historical building, and eating in fine restaurants, it would be marvelous to find someone to share these experiences with.
I also enjoy travel. I ended last year in the Carribean and started this year with visits to South Africa, Turkey, The Highlands, and recently Sussex.
I am very fit, and enjoy walking and playing pickleball. I used to be a tennis player, and a decent golfer.
I like keeping up with current affairs, and the arts . Currently I am interested in art and life between the first and second world war. Like most people I adore my grandchildren who live nearby. Because of my interests I feel very fortunate to have different friendship groups who tend to be in their late fifties to late sixties, and those who are older have interest and activities which make them appear a lot younger. I am a positive person, no baggage, and hate arguments, unless they are healthy. I have a mini Dachshund called Ben, so hopefully you would be an animal lover too. S

To be brutally honest if you are looking for someone to cook and do the ironing etc., sadly for you it’s not me you’re looking for😊 I am looking for a person who is intelligent, funny and a good conversationalist. Someone who is independent and would like to carry on with his own interests as well as sharing some of mine.
Although I am a non drinker I am not adverse to someone who drinks occasionally. S
