About him
I'd like to be very transparent here. I lost my wife very recently (Jan '26) and maybe I shouldn't even be here. Our relationship was satisfying and maybe I should just cherish what I had and get used to being alone. And part of me feels like I'm being disrespectful to her memory. Add to the confusion my libido. Obviously I don't know what I'm doing so forgive me. Aside from all those things, my life centers around composing which I've been doing forever. No, I don't write pop tunes. I write orchestra and chamber music and I'm semi retired. I wouldn't expect you to be into the same thing because that's a virtual impossibility. Just be into the arts in some way and like oddball humor. Also, be open minded to all kinds of ideas. Turns offs include: self-righteous social warriors, gender confusion, men in women's sports, huge tattoos, burning the U.S. flag and pot smoking. Light drinking is o.k.

I described a few things about my ideal match above, but I'm not 100% sure what that would be. For starters, I'd just like have some casual communication with a nice person who is a good listener. Don't worry, I won't confuse you with the role of a therapist. I'm not looking for a counselor.
