Let's be frank here. I honestly don't know a good reason for you to get to know me... I have a dog that some people find cute, though. So there's that...
I'm a moderately successful working filmmaker in Austin, TX. You can likely find my directorial skeletons littered over such crap sites as Hulu and Amazon. Gross. I can get you into SXSW events for free. I also teach film production & writing at essentially every accredited university within a 50-mile radius. Sad, but true.
As is plainly evident from the ribald tale above, I formerly worked in live comedy and still occasionally in TV comedy.
I am an avid reader. And avidly participate in sports avoidance. My tastes run the gamut. Lately, I've been stuck down the twin rabbit holes of 1960's Soviet literary sci-fi and Borscht Belt comedy. Or, as I call 'em, "peanut butter & chocolate." So... slow down ladies! The line starts over here and continues around the block.
Oh, and I will gladly/eagerly scold any ruffians for talking/noisily eating during a movie, so you don't have to! That's my money-back guarantee!

Dear lord. I don't know. You like annoying dorks and/or you are an annoying dork. You don't have a problem laughing at children when they cry. In fact, ideally, it's one of your greatest joys.
Honestly don't have much of an agenda. Just looking to get out more. I've turned into a wicked little cave goblin (as we all have) over the past coupla years. Thought it might be nice to find someone fun to get out and do things with, so I don't get caught embarrassingly talking to my dog like he's my roommate (again).
I've dated artists and non-artists. I don't find I have a strong preference either way. I think it would be fun to riff off someone with a creative mind. Always a great source of inspiration. Now I'm gonna stop writing because that was some grade-A moldy cheese!
