I’m not especially materialistic and writing and performing is more important than how much I earn or own. I still rent, and property is not important to me, though I am trying to gradually get to grips with that concept and could be persuaded if I met the right person. Keeping fit while loving film and theatre are probably my main priorities. I can be sociable in the right circumstances with like-minded people, but quite shy and insular with others. I like my own space but appreciate those who make time for me and the friends I am closest to think I am funny, thoughtful and witty. I like to write poetry and watch films and go running.

I tend to be drawn to strong independent women and interesting features are often more attractive to me than conventional good looks. Ideally I’d like to meet someone who takes care of herself and is reasonably fit, but that’s not the top priority. Obviously it’s more important to find someone with similar ideals to me, who likes to go to movies and plays, who perhaps likes many old films as I do. Who also likes to read books and who I can discuss literature and film with.
