About her
I am genuine, kind, confident, loving and fun. Honesty is the value that is most important to me. I love music and the arts in all forms. I have had a great career to date and enjoy life to the fullest. Having lived and worked in far flung regions of the world I speak a few languages (slightly unexpected ones). I take language lessons few times a week to keep up - writing ancient characters is rather meditative. I hope to write a book one day or maybe a few as there is a lot brewing in my head. I am pretty intuitive and Operate from my heart as my gut feelings are a good guide along the way.
I am very well travelled (from childhood) with Australia being the only continent I haven’t been to. I am also very content staying home with my books, music and occasionally, a good film with popcorn. I have great friends and rather fun dinner parties at home. You never know who will play my piano (or violin, ukelele, guitar etc) .... even I don’t at the start of the evening and it is usually memorable and goes on till the music dies. Life is lively and enriched - I am grateful for all that I get to do, the people I meet and experiences I have. Long may it continue.
I find myself going to GL50 often these days, else am London based. I also regularly visit America, South Asia and Europe (mainly Austria and Poland). I love to discover different parts of the world. I have a house in the countryside on a lake which I love (not in the UK) and enjoy both urban and country living. I like the profound deep impenetrable silence at night in the country. You never get that in a city!!

Kind, gentle and loving. I find it very inspiring to be with someone who is really passionate about something ... anything.....his work, books, maps, bikes, architecture, gardening - it doesn’t matter what.
Someone I can share beautiful music around the world with and all that goes with it....musicology, history, politics, social meaning at the time the music was written, culture and the unspoken word. Think Bach to Bowie via Ella and Edith Piaf, but more in the Bach zipcode. But then Bach Chaconne to Queen isn’t a huge jump;)....and I love them both.
If he loves to eat, I love to cook and I have memorable dinner parties with some “mean” food and hopefully he enjoys handling the drinks part of it as my repertoire is limited on mixed drinks!
We all need laughter and I hope he can laugh at life and laugh with life together with me. I am usually smiling or singing/humming my way through the day.
I love to keep learning and am always happiest with someone with a similar disposition ... my motto is to stay curious, you never know what magic is around the next corner.
Non-smoker would suit me better. The ideal person should be honest and not be in a current relationship or be married.
