I am creative, playful and have a great love and appreciation of life. I like Birmingham - Yes -the entire world is here - well that's what I tell myself. I love good coffee, coffee shops, conversations, newspapers, banter. By the way my friend who has just read this said it sounds v boring and I should say I used to have a yellow MG and I have spent time in Africa).
I like Shropshire too and have an old caravan there, I grew up in Cornwall and I am fascinated by places in general and write about them). I have worked overseas and tried my hand as an artist and punt chauffeur and have settled on part time academic now. I like poetry and jazz (i sometimes play saxophone) and I like wine, food, boats, rivers, colours, markets...
I have a child at primary school that I look after on my own. I would like to meet someone who also has children and/or is flexible in approaching a new relationship with someone who has a child. I would like to meet someone who is fun, bright, caring and has an unbelievably big heart - passion and companionship would be very fine too.
I have been through my share of adventures and life's rollercoaster of good times and bad and have an upbeat approach to life.

I am not sure perhaps my absolute opposite or someone very similar. I don't think there is a set of criteria really. I am looking for someone who has lived and loved but hasn't found someone to share life with, someone who is trustworthy but independent too, someone who wants to explore and have fun and have chilled time too... I think it would be good to meet someone a bit older or the same age.
