I am a friendly, positive, supportive and generous person. I have a wide range of interests. I work for an international NGO in the field of genocide prevention through education. My work is mostly in London and I am passionate about it and issues connected with it, such as social justice and history. So I need to balance that and I love comedy, watching on TV, film, stand up and novels. I love to read which I do on long commutes - novels, history and philosophy. I enjoy art galleries, particularly Tate Modern. Live music has become something of a passion in the last year. I play tennis. I have two cats who wreck my sofa - too late unfortunately. I like to cook - no expert, but it's therapeutic. Whether its edible, well maybe you'll take a chance to find out! I have a largely positive, optimistic outlook where being empathetic to others is the most important quality.

I would like to meet someone sympathetic, intelligent, attractive, kind, a good conversationalist. I want to have fun, enjoy things together, become good friends and see where it may go. I think a good relationship is mutually respectful, mutually supportive and yet has independence so each has space to do their own thing. I would like to share travel, evenings in, days out, with a partner and after that we'd see how it was looking. In terms of deal breakers, I suppose my partner would have to be politically in a similar place (left of centre), and have some of the same sensibilities around interests. But respect is key - without respect a relationship is difficult to sustain so that would be my ultimate dealbreaker.
