About her
Hi there! I'm just your everyday girl who happens to have fiery red hair. I can be shy sometimes, but when I hit it off with someone, I can become super animated and be a humongous goofball that can really go to town about things I'm passionate about. I am a very sympathetic listener and will do all I can to help if someone I care about has a problem. I'm also quite cheerful and affectionate (cuddling is great!).
I'm not really the stereotypical nerd, though I am self-admittedly geeky. I am a huge bibliophile--I love everything about books, not just reading them. I usually read fiction, but the genres I read vary on my mood. I enjoy the classics (Pride and Prejudice), children's books (Coraline & Harry Potter), modern fiction (Where'd You Go Bernadette?), fantasy (Howl's Moving Castle & Running With the Demon), memoirs, humor and the occasional factual non-fiction book. The movies and TV shows aren't stereotypically nerdy, either. I'm a huge BBC/PBS buff, but I also really like Parks & Rec, Gilmore Girls, Monty Python, Drunk History, Cheers, Whose Line Is It Anyway, The West Wing and some of the Nickelodeon shows from my early childhood. As for movies, I really love the classics from the '30's--'60's, as well as Wes Anderson films, quirky comedies, and cult classics. My taste in music is all over the place, but includes Classical, Broadway and Movie Soundtracks.
Apart from my geeky interests, I'm a big lover of animals and own a shelter dog. I'm not a partier or the sporty/adventurous type. I'm more of a homebody. But I do love being in the open air and being near the ocean. (There's something so wonderful about the smell and atmosphere of the ocean!) That said, I do enjoy strolling alone or with friends, playing card/board games, bowling, or having a casual gathering at a pub or by a campfire.

I'm on the lookout for an "adorkable" sweetheart to share my heart with. I want to find a guy who's kind, smart, and has a witty sense of humor. It also wouldn't help if you have thick hair! That's always been like catnip for me! I'd love if our tastes in multimedia overlapped a little, and we could enjoy some of the simple joys in life together.
Some things that just do it for me are drug use (even marijuana), smoking, tattoos & piercings, heavy parting/drinking, boxing and MMA (though I'm perfectly fine with karate and other martial arts) and hunting.
