I like art (without the pretension which sometimes comes with it), music and just about all types of films, the theatre, visiting exhibitions, football, walking, preferably in the mountains or on the beach, and, although not a foodie by any means, eating out and being cooked for.....something I'm improving on myself. To balance all the good things in life, I like going to the gym a few times a week.
Most importantly, I never take myself too seriously.
I've enjoyed visiting a variety of places all over the world, on holiday and for work. I'd like to explore new places including those in the UK.

I'm not one for long prescriptive lists but I'm looking for someone with a similarly positive and peaceful nature. Calm but with a spark. Team-spirited companionship, mutual respect, laughter and a strong sense of responsibility are some of the things I appreciate most in building any good relationship. Someone who is open, understands herself, is even-keeled (which doesn't preclude opinions and passions) and is spontaneous and adventurous. A true-hearted, romantic soul with a good dose of humour.
