I'm a writer - novels/novellas, short fiction, tv, plays, graphic novels, games, films. comic writer/cartoonist. game writer/artist, digital product designer, software designer, toy designer. freelance narrative and design support for amusements, scriptwriting assessor, custom cartoonist, game design support, web designer. poet, lyricist, video producer, art director.
I wrote 3 short novels, turned the first one into a stage play of 25,000 words, turned down as too novel-esque, so now am converting them all into full length novels and screenplays. I have begun a new full length novel and two blogs - one of reviews and a mixed-media blog with videos, links and text.
I'm finishing and starting writing 40 projects due within 2 years. I'm also tinkering with game engines, vintage coding and learning 2d animation and writing my own e-course.
Me and my friends are trying to start a studio managing tiny-budget collab projects - zine, video, comics, indie video games. And I freelance for a day job to support my business which I am developing over the next 3 years.
My last day jobs were web designer and programmer for a school and data entry/file clerk.
I wake up noonish, take the early day to relax with a book or some comics/magazines - which I collect. Then I spend a few hours designing some mecha/digital product art. Then research or reading a novel. Ideally cook lunch, do house chores and have dinner. I often start my creative work around 6-8pm. Major projects include my zero-budget feature documentary video movie and freelancing gigs (mostly web design and amusement design atm.) When I don't have a major project I take three hours to work on three major writing projects. Draw, fantasy map-making, storyboarding or Photoshop for 1hr. self-study 2d animation. work on my blog. watch a movie. on my days off I binge-watch good tv or trashy tv. I don't go to sleep until pretty late and I like an audio book for about half an hour before bed.
