Tend to get busy with work projects in patches, then the diary is chocca, then there's empty pages - nature of the job!
I've been a nurse, an actor/singer, an editor, a garden designer, nanny, and a few mini careers in between. I love learning new stuff!
I decided to go back to my 1st love - professional acting, a few years ago - feel like I'm home again!
So I 'm now an actor & director. But I also teach vocal and presentation skills, and am also an acting coach/tutor.
Starting to write scripts too...
Would like to do more singing... Those old jazz standards I learned as a kid are still with me... so many fab songs - in all genres...
I'm an independent soul and have never felt the need to be 'joined at the hip' in a relationship. But sharing is lovely - so it would be nice to meet someone who shared some of my interests and maybe introduced me to new ones.
Doing my best to stay fit, mix it up with a bit of hot yoga, swimming...(now have a wet suit, so sea swimming year round is on!) and cycling (the 'fairweather' variety, so just good hybrid, no racer!)
My music tastes are very broad: probably too much to quote - Bach, Handel & Puccini, Beatles, Stones, Cream, Sting, Ellington, Sarah Vaughan, Ella & Sinatra, Sondheim, Buena Vista Social Club, Hendrix, Jaime Cullum, Florence, Red Hot Chillies, Kaiser Chiefs, Maroon 5 - and the list goes on and grows... just discovered some Philip Glass, thanks to the Sound Designer for a play I directed recently; how did I miss him?
I am bright, fun and creative, have lots of enthusiasm and energy and probably need someone similar...
I'd like to be clever and uber-witty but I'll just leave that to you guys...
(the choices for 'smoking' are limited: there's no 'I have the odd one now & then, but don't do it in the company of non-smokers' option!)
A note: I am not C-jabbed & never will be. I've never had a flu jab either; not going to start now.
But I've had numerous other vaccines etc. - especially for travel.

I might as well be bold and describe my ideal...
Wit, intelligence and creative talent are all attractive.
Energy, spontaneity and open-minded thinking are probably requirements too. A bit of culture, a sense of adventure and some spiritual depth would be nice. Laughter and kissing would be lovely.
I have loads of sheet music - maybe you could play some of it..?
Ok, I know I'm pushing my luck here, but hey - don't ask; don't get!
