About her
I would describe myself as a funny and imaginative thinker, who craves adventure, loves all things creative, is captivated by a great conversation, and is accepting of others. Okay--that was a mouthful! I have a very creative background. My grandfather was a post-impressionist painter and my parents were both Broadway dancers. How cool is that? I've been surrounded by art and music my whole life, and was free to choose to do whatever I wanted to do.
I love to cook and I find men who cook very sexy. Don't worry; if you don't cook, I will cook for you. Traveling is another of my passions. Just smelling an airport gets me excited. I have no qualms about traveling by myself. The first time I went to Europe I was 29. I backpacked for a month and loved it! I met all kinds of people and have stories--stories I will tell if you're interested ;-). I am pretty spontaneous. I'm not afraid to go camping by myself. I usually meet people and start talking. I love hearing people talk about their travels and adventures. I also love music and have a wild range of musical tastes. I love concerts and have seen everyone from Black Sabbath to Lena Horne. Finally, I am a total film buff and love attending film festivals. This is a huge passion of mine.
I'm kind, sometimes to a fault. What can I say? I'm empathetic and I love kids, even though I don't have any of my own. I'm also a big animal lover. I can be impatient. Not that I am going to date everyone I meet, but I am very accepting. I have a lot of compassion for people. I've been known to say a lot of funny things. At least my friends tell me I'm hilarious. Let's see... I love NPR--This American Live, Fresh Air... In fact I am wearing my NPR t-shirt right now :-) I love the color green because it goes with my eyes. (How's that for superficial?) I don't spend a lot of time shopping. I have a super sweet Chihuahua who I made a film about named Pancho. And last, but not least, my best friend and I like to hunt for ghosts. Really.

What kind of guy: My kind of guy is kind, creative, and successful, but humble about it. He's also strong and knows how to handle himself. It would be great if we shared some of the same interests like travel, hikes, museums, sailing, and food. I'm really supportive and it would be nice if he were supportive, too.
