Tolerant, patient and reliable male seeking lady friend for companionship and to share interests in life. Tired of going solo; much more appealing with two together to explore what life has to offer. I remain pretty fit and agile and like to adventure out and discover different aspects of life.
Am a professional person with many years experience living and working outside of the UK. However, my travelling days are over and now settled back in the UK. While still working, I am slowly running down on commitments which frees up my time. But always up for more travelling to new and different places including in the UK.
I enjoy a range of sports events (but not extreme sports) although today more as a spectator. Taken up sailing which has proved to be challenging but great fun and am at the dizzy heights of a Day Skipper. I enjoy sailing but only in warm waters such as the Canary Isles, Portugal etc and where the crew can enjoy a rewarding drink or two at the end of the boat after a days sailing.
I enjoy country walks especially coastal treks and equally happy whether striding out or ambling along. All helps to maintain a modicum of fitness and a healthy and positive outlook on life. Other interests include business and current affairs. I can also add a passing interest in the arts (theatre, cinema, museums, history) but not to any deep level.
I am a bit of horse racing supporter, and have modest syndicate horses with friends. We have had some great experiences, including visits to Cheltenham and Ascot enclosure. I visit Lords to socialise at cricket which is fantastic when not raining.
An average "socialiser" and with a good cross-section of family and friends. Although they are now rather spread across the UK. Fond of eating out whether good pub-grub or fine dining. But at the same time, very much appreciate home life and comforts.
