I’m empathetic, caring and fun. Family are very important to me and I enjoy their company.
Friendship too is important and I appreciate my long term friends. I’ve been widowed for 3 years and I miss having a soul companion.
Art had always been important in my life and I draw and paint when I can. I love gardening and visiting gardens and nurseries and I enjoy buying plants - tea and cake being a very important part of the experience.
I do have a political side to me and enjoy a debate. Also I’m a keen environmentalist.
My outlook in life is currently to enjoy it day to day. I feel fortunate to still be alive and relatively healthy and if anyone invites me to do something or go somewhere I usually say yes. Seize the day!

I’d love to meet someone who has a great sense of humour, someone who is a gentleman and who is kind and empathetic, someone I could trust.
I’m not too keen on egotists especially the frail ones who can’t laugh at themselves.
Maybe, if I found the right person, we could visit other countries but no cruises- as they are very polluting to the environment. Perhaps go to the theatre and cinema together. Talk about books, visit galleries and so forth.
