I am outgoing and gregarious with a great sense of humour, I’m a complete gentleman and have a generally positive outlook on life, but you should get to know me as that’s when you will find my hidden depths (a bit like Shrek and the onion story)!
I have loads of hobbies, motorcycling (I have a spare helmet for a pillion), classic cars (I have a nice sports car), camping, I have room in my tent for two (plus dog). I have a small dog called Bernie and we both enjoy getting out in the countryside but would benefit from some interesting company for walks, meals out, scintillating conversation and snuggling on the sofa.
Always willing to try something new and make new friends, looking for a muse to cook for and listen to old records with whilst sipping a G&T or three.

I am looking for someone who is fun to be with, confident and wants to maintain their independence even after they meet someone great. Looks are not so important, more important is a great character and a nice nature.
We don’t have to like the same things as long as you are willing to share your hobbies and try some of mine. Not looking to spend all the time in the pub but happy with a walk to a country pub a pint of real ale or a home cooked meal.
Smoking is a definite no, my kids are grown up but still come to see me mainly for food as I love to feed people and have been complimented on my cooking. I had a close shave with nearly getting on Come Dine With Me having never even watched the programme but that’s a story to be told over a drink 😉. So ideally someone in a similar situation to me or without kids is fine.
