About him
I am a goofy and romantic middle class, middle aged guy who teaches economics at NPS in Monterey. I love my work, which combines attributes of being a scholar and a soldier, has taken me all over the world, and gives me a strong sense of purpose. Outside of work, I do a lot of parenting. Two wonderful kids aged 17 and 12, and if I am lucky, i will have more.
For personal time, I am learning how to surf. Not really good at it (yet!), but whenever, I score a ride - the sensation is indescribable. Artistic expression is also a real priority for me. I am very active in the local dance community - on the board of the local ballet company, take modern technique classes regularly, and I choreograph pieces for the local community college. Dance was important to me in college, and after a long hiatus that started when I started my military service and ended when I got divorced, I am really happy to be back into it.

My ideal match? I would like to die in the arms of a woman knowing that she had truly knew me. And I her. It would be nice if my last though isn't "God, was she boring." If possible, I would like to have more children with her, and share the great adventure of parenting. And finally, I would like someone who believes in things bigger than herself, and sees a marriage as an alliance of two people fighting for things more important than they are.
