I have a great life - it's just missing a great man. Could you be him?
Why should you get to know me? Well I can hold an intelligent conversation and can be very diverting. I'm a positive and independent woman with a sense of adventure. I'm up for most things, including trying internet dating! My friends' description: warm, funny, generous-spirited, highly intelligent....and beautiful - but they are my friends! I like good food and am a pretty good cook - Leith's trained - but I also enjoy eating out.
There's not much I can't get interested in. I love being in London for all it has to offer - especially the theatre and exhibitions. It's been wonderful to see everything opened up again. I have two great kids (twins aged 30) who are now making their own way in the world.
My big passion is travel. It's been great to get back to that post-Covid. Favourite past trips include Rwanda, where I met the hairy guy in my profile picture; hiking the Inca Trail to see the sun rise over Machu Pichu; Easter Island; the Northern Lights and the Ice Hotel in the Arctic Circle - although crashing through the ice of an Arctic lake on a skidoo was a bit too much excitement. I've just returned from a trip to Australia and a walking holiday in Slovenia. Rome is probably my favourite city. I'm quite into Ancient History and love poking around in ancient ruins - my last visit to Iran was my fourth. I've reached the age where I can still do a tent or a home stay at a push but prefer a bit of stylish luxury. And I love skiing. I'm never happier than when sliding down a mountain - preferably upright. It was great to get back to that in March of this year.
But all that aside, I'm happy to stay in - with the right company. Sharing a glass of good wine in front of the tv with an attractive man would be nice. Please apply here if this is you!
