About him
If I were to communicate something of myself by describing what is essential to me, I would say they would be words, ideas, the visual arts, films, the poetry of words, ideas and pictures.
But that doesn’t say much, so maybe I would add I have been married, now divorced, so have had my share of the experience of love, expectation and disappointment.
Add to these that I am thoughtful, articulate and well mannered with a penchant for slow burning romances, but I can be also impractical, impatient, over-pensive, obtuse.
For myself, I believe in the personal development of mind and body and so food and keeping fit and learning about new things are important to me. These are things I prescribe for myself and I do not expect others to adhere to. What is important to me is a life pared down to the essentials that can be shared with a few and to screen out the social chatter, noise and the pressure to keep in step with the herd.
For now, that’s as close as I can get to a faithful, even if, unfinished portrait, or something more like a collage of sorts! May add a few extra daubs later.

A woman who is compelling, creative, quirky, individual, intense, A source of inspiration, laughter and sadness, a thinking person, unconventional, and whose values are of her own making. One who appreciates and is able to share conversation and ideas, but also what is left unspoken and moments of silence. Someone who might share a passion for books and thought and togetherness, or who can add something new, but above all, one can add a certain colour to my current spectrum. On a deeper level, I would say that if I were a house, I would want to be one that, although not as yet decrepit, (still with hair and own set of gnashers!), would be haunted by such a woman.
