About him
I'm 72, but told I could pass for much younger. I'm fit and active and love travelling. I have my own little house in a small seaside town, my back garden opens on to the South Downs Way, and I am close to areas of outstanding natural beauty. I've traveled extensively solo and have no trouble making new friends but would enjoy a travelling companion and an added bonus would be avoiding the rip-off single traveller supplement.
My social life is filled with various activities; I am a member of the local Ramblers (that is, walking locally on the South Downsway, not talking and boring for Sussex! ), I belong to 3 local social clubs, and a member of my active car club. Oh, and travelling abroad. I love classic car racing, not the formula one processions.
I take pride in my appearance, not to the point of OCD about labels, but just try to dress smartly. Or appropriately if out walking. Clean hair and good oral hygeine are again important but again not to the point of OCD. I have OH and OT.

A lively, friendly gregarious personality, and someone who takes an interest in current affairs and reads newspapers. Nothing cheers me up like the thought of curling up on the sofa in front of my log fire discussing the small print of Brexit. Not really, only joking.
And someone who's fun to be with, although wacky sense of humour is optional.
I enjoy the good things in life, holidays, people-watching on continental pavement cafes, and also simple things, walks and car journeys, preferably in France, and hope to share with you.
A smart dresser, although I'm not label conscious, and takes pride in her appearance and has no more than one wardrobe full of shoes.
But finally we could come to an agreement on the division of labour; I'll put out the bins, mow the lawn and put up the shelving and she will plump the cushions and CHANGE THE DUVET COVER. And as a bonus I'll put down the loo seat.
