About her
I think I'm quite outgoing, caring, curious and thoughtful. I greatly appreciate intelligence, independent thinking, true passion for something in life and emotional maturity. Conversely, superficiality, selfishness, overblown egos and blind following of trends effectively put me off. Drinking has never been high on my personal list of fun activities. That's not to say I don't enjoy alcohol, but in small amounts and for the flavour rather than the effects.
I'm an incurable film geek. Kubrick, Altman, Lumet, Alan J. Pakula and P.T. Anderson are some of the directors whose work I cherish most. Music plays an important role in my life as well, with Nirvana, Fugazi, Mark Lanegan, The Jesus Lizard, Talk Talk and the Louisville, KY 90's post-rock scene being the most significant touchstones.
I love the majesty of mountainous landscapes and (moderately) violent meteorological phenomena, especially thunderstorms. Cool breeze after a summer rain and the scent of freshly cut grass make me feel alive. My other little pleasures include hot showers and cool pillows, dark chocolate, quality coffee, tiramisu and Portuguese tarts.
Whenever possible, I try to take a break from the urban jungle and allow my mind to wonder freely among nature. I like walking and taking in sights, both locally and abroad. I love and respect all animals and it matters if they hold a special place in your life as well.

Someone communicative, sensitive and affectionate with a healthy dose of criticism towards the world. A bit of an edge and a witty sparkle in the eye would be very welcome and a warm smile goes a long way. As much as I believe in the power of chemistry, self-awareness and emotional maturity come first, especially before all those elusive chemicals get a chance to make themselves known.
