I'm a confident, solvent person looking for a lifetime partner, someone to settle down with, to travel with and to build memories together.
I am a chartered surveyor but now partially retired and now work three days a week. This gives me ample time to spend with someone and build a special relationship. I am also at the stage where retirement would be considered if it suited a new relationship.
I love walking be it in the dales, the peak district or somewhere local and at the moment spend part of my weekend walking, sometimes leading walks for small groups.
I love holidays be it by the beach or an impulsive city break and look to get away at least 3-4 times a year. I have a passion for Italy.
I enjoy meals in or out and I can cook. I prefer red over white or strong coffee over tea. I think spending time in the kitchen together is a great way to start an evening.
I have an eclectic taste in music but my preferred genre is Indie and often have music on around the house or watching live gigs.
Property development has been a passion of mine and the last three houses I have lived in have all been major projects. I would be happy to undertake another.
I have three children, all now in their 20’s and 30’s. None of them live with me permanently but they do have their own bedrooms at mine and are welcome any time.
