I do love a good movie, although would probably elect to watch in the comfort of own home with some friends. This can be just on a whim, or after cooking, or a game of something... I do like being the host.
That's not to say I don't like a good night out, but would favour a walk followed by an afternoon in a country pub, or some toe tapping live music. I was recently doing just that in Dublin - great city for a weekend break and soak in the atmosphere.
My job keeps me busy, but not only do I enjoy it, but it means I can invest in house and currently redoing the kitchen.
I like my life, I like my work, I like my friends, but I don't have that special someone - which is why I am here.

Any ideal match would enjoy random spontaneity and unplanned trips away.
They'd be happy with their life, and not afraid to embarrass themselves on the dance floor (oh, I forgot to mention that in the first block). I'd prefer someone to not want to go clubbing at each opportunity (it has its place, but hopefully we'd rather stay in, or be heading somewhere mutually more stimulating).
Confident, opinionated, and chatty are very attractive traits to me.
That said, when asked what is a sign of a good relationship, I think the character in Mad About You had a point. "comfortable silences".
