About him
I have spent most of my career working in the creative industries as a writer and designer. Most of my work, these days, is writing. I love my work and have my own (small) book marketing business (although I am my only full time employee). As an online entrepreneur, I'm 'location-independent' and am currently renting a place in Greece, although I consider Battersea (London) my home.
I wouldn't call myself typically 'arty': I have a rounded interest and can be quite down to earth most of the time, although I have a strong creative urge which manifests itself many ways... I am passionate about my loves and can be very single-minded at times, but overall I think people find me laid back and philosophical.
I'm tall: exactly 6' 3", in fact. And broad shouldered. A friend once described me as having the body of a rugby player and the brain of a geek. It still makes me laugh.
People generally say I have a good sense of humour; although I can't think of anything funny to write. (There's probably a joke in that, somewhere.)
I'm reasonably well read, and fairly widely read too, but can engage with trivia with the rest of them (if, and when, necessary). I am probably full of contradictions, but very reflective, and even when I'm terribly serious about something I never take myself completely seriously.
My other great love is fitness. I enjoy exercise for the sake of it. Which is probably good as I spend so much of my time sitting down! I like to visit the gym, running, swimming and judo. I'm a regular gym-goer and enjoy strength training - I regularly set myself strength goals and work hard towards them (I'm currently chasing a 250kg lift). I tend to like people who like exercising too.
I am a lifelong animal lover and vegetarian.
I follow politics quite closely, which is rather like a soap-opera these days, although there's still no one to vote for!

I believe in chemistry and I prefer to think that is an intangible quality which can only be determined through the direct mutual twinkling of eyes. But if pressed to be more specific than that - Someone who makes me smile; and who smiles at me.
