I spent decades building the invisible infrastructure of large companies — the systems that quietly make things work. Somewhere along the way, a gorgeous performance of Santa Fe Ballet moved me to tears, and I've been chasing the particular kind of divine vulnerability you feel when a human body does something so exquisitely perfect that you cry — not from sadness, but from the sudden awareness of your own shared humanness.
