I'm easy-going and generally prefer laughter to drama. I don't take life too seriously because, frankly, life seems quite capable of being serious enough all by itself.
I like a good conversation. If you're looking for someone who can discuss life, the universe, and why biscuits always seem to taste better with tea, we'll probably get along just fine. In my spare time, I enjoy thinking, daydreaming and getting out for walks. One of my fav movies is American Werewolf in London. My taste in music is fairly eclectic, ranging from songs that make me contemplate life's deeper meanings to songs that make me sing loudly and confidently despite having absolutely no evidence of musical talent. I believe that most of life's problems look slightly more manageable after a cup of tea and a chocolate bar. I lived in the US for 20 years which totally transformed my outlook on life.

I'm realistic enough to know there's probably no such thing as an "ideal match" for me. Relationships are about finding someone whose quirks fit with your own, and a bit of madness would definitely be welcome. Money doesn't impress me. What matters is being genuine, kind, and polite. Looks have never been high on my list of priorities because I ain't no oil painting but I do scrub up well. For me, it's much more about what's going on in the mind, how you treat people, and whether we can enjoy each other's company. You need to be polite and that means you have to let me down lightly please. One thing to think about is that age is only a number. And death is just a word right!
