I'm a lot of things that don't usually go together. I hold a PhD in computer science and work in AI, but I've also published books — a data-driven investigation into Jack the Ripper, a couple of works of fiction. I'm a chess national master who spends his weekends on the salsa and bachata floor. I grew up steeped in Hindustani classical music and Kannada devotional tradition, and I find that background informs everything from how I listen to music to how I think about life.
I'm drawn to people who are genuinely present — who have a world of their own and aren't afraid to let you into it.
