I’m light hearted, curious, easy to get along with, hard working, creative, quirky, caring and adventurous.
I'm concerned and interested in current affairs, and care deeply about the precarious future for our planet.
I love to have a giggle, enjoy going to the cinema, love rowing, learning the banjo, cooking curries, reading, yoga and pilates, spending time with my wonderful family and friends, walking my beautiful dog, astronomy, travelling in my motorhome .... and I love the smell of seaweed. I used to prefer the beach to the forest, but have recently changed my mind! Still love the beach though.... 🏝️
I enjoy speaking my native language Welsh, which I learnt when I returned to Wales in the late 90’s and ended up teaching it to adults.
Listening to live music is another favourite of mine, so enjoy having a knees up music festivals, but also enjoy other festivals like the Hay Festival, How the Light Gets In festival and The Green Gathering.
When I lived in Wales I was a member of a sea rowing club and took part in the biennial Celtic Challenge - a 96 mile rowing race from Ireland to Wales. That’s a story to tell!
I believe in sustainable living and have an EV, an allotment and keep hens and a couple of bee hives.
I’m hoping to find someone on here who’s on the same page as me - for friendship, and perhaps more if we find we get along.
I’d like to meet a kind and considerate person. Someone who has similar values to myself. I like people who are sensitive and caring, and who I can discuss anything with, and who are comfortable expressing their feelings and emotions.
I’ve been a professional actress since 1980, but most of my work came in my twenties before starting a family. I’ve enjoyed my career, which has been varied and interesting. I could never have worked 9 to 5 in an office. That's just not who it am ....
