I've had a very practical career and am now exploring more creative outlets. I love history, and my hobbies include painting, ceramics, enamelling, gardening, needlework, and hillwalking. You can sometimes find me digging up the vegetable bed, although I've yet to beat the slugs to any produce - no wonder I prefer my roses!
