People close to me tell me I have an interesting mind and perspective. I’m curious about people, I like people, I’ll probably be curious about you.
For the most part, I’m fairly content with my life. I tend toward optimism and reserve space for skepticism. For chronic misery, I’m not good or interested company.
I’m growth oriented and am interested in those who are similarly inclined. I’m not a seeker and I believe I’m not dogmatic. Woof.
Truth and honesty are two of my primary values. And though I wouldn’t content that I know a lot about philosophy, I’m interested in philosophy…interested in thought, thinking and the why’s.
I have equal interests in art and psychology, if you share those two interests, you might enjoy conversing with me.
I like music and it’s easier to list what my ears don’t like because it’s a shorter list compared with what I do like. I don’t generally like heavy metal, speed metal, rabidly offensive misogynistic rap and bubblegum pop.
Ceramics has been my main form of creative expression for about 20 years. I make both utilitarian ware and non-utilitarian forms. I like the challenges clay presents, I like to experiment and don’t like feeling stuck or confined.
For the most part people close to me find me grounding.
I’m particular about how I like to travel. I’m not so much interested in site seeing, I prefer to feel my way into a place and a culture. I prefer to not do typical, touristy travel. I do like hot springs. I like water in general, but am horrible atop the water; boats and ships are not for me.
I’m not a good or creative writer, I’m best at active conversation.
