About her
My friends would say I am a good listener, caring, can be funny and serious, and enjoy companionship. I am also determined when I have a goal, not to give up.
I like art, music, films, being outdoors, walking, talking, swimming, reading, cooking and audiobooks. I love snorkelling on holiday. I'm mostly vegetarian.
Children and young people are important to me , and I want to have more of a role in this area, which is why I put 'wants children - maybe' - as obviously I am way past my sell by date biologically!
As well as working part time I go to a community choir and swimming, both great for relaxing and being in the present.
I don't like being too sedentary, and don't like driving too much.
I'm learning to write songs and am doing a short course in puppetry soon.
To relax I love meeting up with friends, having a social drink and chat, or walk and talk; also for a night in love a good series on Netflix.
My outlook on life is to be positive, but realistic. Try to see the fun in situations (when appropriate...) I try to help others when I can, and care a lot about the environment. I think its important to look after myself and always hope to fulfil my dreams. I believe creativity can create a little magic.
I'm looking for a woman with whom I can share some of my interests with, to build a close committed bond - hopefully intimacy too - and see what grows.

Someone who loves a good conversation. To me talking and listening is essential to closeness, and I would hope for us both to feel comfortable sharing the mundanities and excitements of life. I think communication is a key to make a relationship work, oh and attraction of course! I think we all need space and quietness at times, but would like to be able to achieve this without either being rejecting of the other person.
I'd like to share any of the things I am doing, if you wished too, and also am happy to try new things if you have things you would like to share ..... As long as it doesn't involve great heights.....
Being active is important to me and it would be lovely to share walking, and dancing..
I wouldn't like to be with someone who goes away a lot and polyamourousness is not for me!
The one thing missing in my life is a close relationship, and I'm looking for the long term. I know things can start one way and change so am happy to have a bit of fun and see where it goes.
I love laughing but not at others, finding the humour in life can lighten the day - while not denying seriousness and being authentic. A hard balance to get right but when it works it keeps things moving and opens doors that go who knows where.
Caring for children is important to me so someone to whom this was also important would be helpful.
