I’d like to enjoy exploring the world with someone to share it with ,and whilst I have travelled extensively it would be lovely to explore with a like minded soul .
I have been divorced since the 1990’s so am footloose and fancy free .
I did retire just as the pandemic hit - great timing - but have managed to visit many areas of the UK that I may not have done otherwise . I have also found an interest in playing football , yoga , kayaking and cooking courses , so all was not lost .
Being contrary , I have itchy feet but I am also looking to find a perfect spot to have as a base. I’d prefer to have more living space and to leave behind the crowded streets and constant noise of cars . I’m independent as I’ve been used to being solo but I’d love to have someone to experience the next phase with. How special it would be to get dressed up and go out to dinner as a couple after the past two years of jeans !
I have continued to work part time just to keep myself occupied as I am not good at being bored. However, if I find the right person I do not plan on continuing to work - it’s just filling up time at the moment.
Whilst I have tried to answer all the questions honestly, some of them are black or white which is often not the case - I believe that I am flexible and open to other’s opinions, likes and dislikes .

Sincere Apologies for my photos - I rarely have them taken . The most recent one is only a couple of weeks old when a lady over-made me for a wedding.
You’ll notice that suddenly my hair went from curly to straight —a mystery to me but the wonder of age I guess !
A bonus would be someone who would slow dance and enjoy formal events in addition to casual wining and dining .I’m happy to try new sports or activities-I’m not much good at golf so I stick to the golf ranges now ,or offer to drive the golf cart so I can pretend to be a golfer !
I have lived in several parts of the world but mainly North America .
Coastal and sunny lifestyles are my favourite but I do enjoy experiencing other cultures and am totally open to all countries and climates
