Are you surprised you're here too? Very uncertain and nervous about this whole thing, but in the spirit of nothing ventured nothing gained, let's see what happens.....
I'm a genuinely open minded, hoping to venture to new places, meet new people and do new things, hopefully with someone special. I'm definitely an outdoorsy type - my favourite place is the beach, but show me a hill and I'm happy to walk up it.
I love travelling but at the same time I'd like to also share all sorts of experiences closer to home. I play a variety of sports for fun and it would be great if there was a shared interest in that area, but it's not essential. I really like, and am very comfortable around, dogs.
Although the passage of time says one thing, my brain keeps fighting to acknowledge my age, so I'd like to say I'm young in outlook! I don't have the flowing locks or dance moves of Patrick Swayze and my skiing is more Eddie the Eagle than Franz Klammer, but I'll give most things a go (except bungee jumping) with a smile - my favourite thing to do given the time and place is white water rafting.
I'd just like to find a connection with someone that means I can share my thoughts, feel cared for, give affection in return and, above all, laugh and enjoy life again.
