About him
I believe life should be lived to the full --lived not for the sake of fleeting pleasures and happiness, but in such a manner as leads to continual joy! For life will be meaningless, actually, if all happiness can only be temporary.
I think I have acquired a few likes: a love for objective, deep reflection; a desire for empathetic and compassionate understanding; ambitions for the furtherance of myself and my talents for the sake of humanity.
…And a few dislikes: aversion of slothfulness, self-complacency, slovenliness, and excessive inconsistency and undependability ( one cannot perfectly consistent and dependable, but can afford to be reasonably to.)
I love art -- literary art, classical music, and Fine art. Creations which any receptive layman can understand, as distinct from intellectual works which require special knowledge for their appreciation. I like dramatic art, too ( though I have not really visited a theatre in a long while!) --- plus TV shows/films that are rich in life and substance, that entertain and give a slice of life...

I would appreciate an intimate connection with a woman with a sincere interest in genuine womanliness. Womanliness, as a personal attribute, not a physical or outward one. As a quality which can be cultivated! By “womanliness”, I mean a sensitivity capable of recognising what is really beneficial and what is really harmful, irrespective of what society thinks about them.
I am, of course, not looking for one who already bears genuine womanliness (since, strictly speaking, I myself am hardly a genuine man as yet), but for one sincerely desirous of it! I desire this connection because it will be quite gratifying to be able to support her in her fundamental life endeavours.
