About him
I am a lover of music ranging from Roxy Music to Chopin. I never tire of his nocturnes. I also like pop standards from Clarence the Frogman's Henry's, "You Always Hurt the One You Love" from 1961, or Skeeter Davis's, "I Can't Stay Mad At You" from 1963, "Oh Very Young" by Cat Stevens, on & on! So many good songs from so many decades. I'm quite liberal and I try to listen to both my reason and emotions. I enjoy foreign films and perspectives but I know we Americans have no monopoly on ignorance, although it's so clear we're developmentally delayed especially since November 4, 2016!!!!!. I gave my first stimulus check to Joe & KamaIa, and that has been the best financial investment in my life. I'm so happy and grateful to have ethical and responsible leadership again in our struggling democracy. I have my opinions, but I try not to be opinionated. As you know, that is easier said than done! I enjoy humor and kindness and try to learn from challenges. I'm loyal to my friends but I believe that a person who is nice to you and rude to the waiter is probably not a nice person-I read this in a Dave Barry column. I do believe an informed, ethical value system can help in living more wisely however one defines this I view myself as fairly independent and a person who asks questions without insisting on "answers." However, the way forward is refreshing if its grounded in realistic optimism-not false hope.
I bicycle ten miles on a local bike path almost every evening all year round mainly for the health benefits. It can be fun too as I like to glide as well as pedal, and see fellow bicyclists, walkers, joggers, and runners.

I'm looking to meet an authentic woman who places a value on the inner life while acknowledging how appearances can be important, but not overly so. A partner who values & lives paradox, but is also grounded in concrete realities like budgets, and the vicissitudes of life , yet is also open to the wonders & humor so often found side by side with the serious concerns of this journey. A partner who has more questions than answers, but knows her emotional/intellectual & developmental grounds. Of course, I'm also of that makeup so the hope is to find a kindred spirit in this bardo.
