Calm, patient with a passion for life. Active, I enjoy the outdoors and really quite adventurous in many ways, not a conservative person at all really.
I love a game of scrabble if I get the chance, I choose not to drive a car but I have a motorbike and cycle instead. I have enjoyed being carless for 15 years+
My family used to think I was potty, but over the years they’ve seen it work out well. I travel widely and seem to have acquired another perspective in the process.
You’re welcome to introduce yourself and ask me anything (within reason of course) or we could simply abandon convention and head for the Lakes to enjoy a dawn swim together.
I’m looking for an occasional lunch/dinner date who is good company. Just a few hours together, every now and then. I’m open to a walk in the park or something equally as sedate, such as raising the occasional eyebrow in a contemporary art gallery.

I am content being single with no plans to change. I do enjoy female company though and on reflection that is lacking in my life right now. I am settled and not looking for someone with expectations of marriage.
I spend time with my family, I enjoy my own company, particularly my close friends with whom I get together occasionally.
