I enjoy having a laugh and being a bit cheeky but am a good listener too. I am trustworthy, respectful, loyal, optimistic, easygoing but no game player. I watch a variety of movies and documentaries and the ABC and SBS are my go-to channels. I am a reasonable cook but like to go out for meals occasionally. Looking for a friend and lover, and a touch of romance would round things off nicely! A lifetime relationship would be a bonus.
I am interested in Australian and British art, architecture, archaeology, history, gardening and railways. Also flyfishing, the Shakespeare authorship mystery and the island of Capri. I love travelling and I've been to quite a few countries, but I am just as happy going for drives in the hills and exploring country towns.
Recently widowed, I am essentially shy and reserved but in the right company I open up like the leaves of a book. I will be visiting England for 4 months from 22nd July to mid November and wonder if you would be interested in meeting up? I will be staying in London for the first month then touring the countryside for the rest of the time and hopefully also indulging in a Mediterranean cruise in November. I am an Anglophile and love visiting your villages, country houses and gardens, also museums and art galleries. In the future I am hoping to be able to spend a few months every year in the UK.
