This man is genuinely one of the kindest, most interesting and most talented individuals I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He'll blow you away with his humour and his insane vocal abilities, and he'll charm the socks off of you with his quick wit and beautiful smile. Alan is one of the most interesting people I have ever met; there is never a dull conversation with him, and you can find yourself talking for hours with him about a variety of interesting subjects. He is an incredible listener, and is just as fascinated with learning about the interests of others as he is talking about his own; you can see his genuine interest in whatever it is you're talking about, and wanting to know more. He pays attention, and takes in what people have to say. He's incredibly easy to talk to, and the kind of person you'd want in your life for a good laugh.
Aside from being an absolute gentleman and one of the kindest and honourable men I know; Alan has the absolute patience of a Saint. He always sees the best in someone and never gives up on people. I've never met a more patient and level headed man in my life; his cool head and ability to see the best in others is reassuring and comforting; and is a testament to his fine character. What's also more amazing about him is he doesn't have a single negative or malicious bone in his body.
What makes Alan tick is his genuine concern for people and his desire to see people he cares about happy. Alan lives for having a good time, and enjoying life. With him it's nothing but trying to make the best; well that and his passion to watch, study and destroy bad films.
Too many personal funny moments to recount, but Alan has more than once shown he has a great sense of humour; he's that awesome dude that can effortless balance being a mature and interesting guy, with being an absolute laugh at the same time. He's always up for a laugh and if the atmosphere is down, it's good bet he'll be one of the first to liven it up. Aside from being a great and supportive guy, I cannot think of there having ever been a dull moment with him.

Alan is a man with an absolute heart of gold. If he cares for you, he will always be there for you. He's supportive, he is kind and funny and makes fantastic jokes, does brilliant voice impressions and writes the most beautiful birthday and Christmas cards. He is thoughtful, considerate and understanding. Alan is a treasure of a man and I have been honoured for many years to call him my friend.
P.S he likes impersonating the Joker and has a fantastic butt.
