About him
I've spent my whole life steeped in the arts. I'm an interesting box of contradictions. I have the creative spirit of an artist and the analytical skills of somebody who could have been a lawyer. However, my life is defined by my passions, without which I couldn't imagine getting up in the morning. I started as a musical theater actor/singer in my teens, and musicals are still my first love. My graphic talents led me into theatrical makeup, doing SFX for film, but that got supplanted by my work as a permanent cosmetic artist. I now work with medical spas in both Chicago and NYC. But I still stretch my heart and mind as the creator of beautiful songs and new musicals. You'll also find me singing at the Birdland open mike whenever possible. I have an entrepenurial spirit, and I'm currently seeking to reinvent myself as more of a businessman. I'm in the midst of creating an online platform for delivery of theater as home entertainment which I hope will change the industry. I've been a collector of Art Deco, Art Nouveau, and (more recently) Belle Epoque posters for about 25 years all together. In a world where real beauty, inside and out, seems to be devolving at times, I try to surround myself with the sights and sounds of beauty from days gone by. I admit to being a bit A.D.D. (in fact, I joke that there aren't enough "D's" in A.D.D. for me!), but I like to think that's part of my charm. Like most really smart (MENSA member) individuals with creative tendencies, I thrive on variety and new challenges. I'm not a gym rat, but I eat reasonably, walk a lot, and love dancing to keep fit. I love vintage jazz, flea markets, museums, films, lectures, interesting cuisine, and I look forward to traveling more. I split my time between NYC and Chicago for my work every month. I'm planning to be in NYC a lot more, so looking for a long term relationship in the Apple, or nearby. Come enjoy the city with me!

I am always open to bright, creative, good hearted, interesting new friends. But I really want to find my creative soul mate and long term companion for a full on relationship. I've never been married, but I'm ready to commit in whatever form that requires to the right person. That companion, hopefully, will be healthy in body and mind, with the energy to get out and explore with me. I really believe beauty comes from within.
