Hmmm….
I much prefer real life where you make your own decisions based on your interactions with me and I can gauge your level of interest rather the online situation where I am just telling you things with no indication of when to shut up/give more.
However we are online, so with apologies for too much /too little I present my key interests/reasons for getting to know me with a few caveats!
- I have a positive outlook and am very sociable (latter can be off- putting for some)
- Music is my passion. I am a trustee of a charity that helps children from less privileged backgrounds to pursue their musical ambitions
- I love singing and spend a lot of time doing it but appreciate that it's a bit of an acquired taste!
- I enjoy galleries, love live music and theatre, esp musicals and quirky fringe events be they opera, comedy or drama.
- I love travelling and have been round the world several times. I'm a good travel organiser - not into backpacking and dormitories but neither do I want to travel in a five star bubble - although I'm not averse to occasional luxury!
- I keep reasonably fit but am definitely not a gym bunny.
-I enjoy walking but of the 'enjoying the scenery/stopping for lunch' variety rather than a time dependent route march.
- I love good food but my culinary skills are limited - not a selling point I know! I’m probably not suited to those seeking a cook/housekeeper but I’m a great sous chef/bottle washer/table layer extraordinaire!
About her ideal match
I have a very open mind about most things but kindness and consideration for me and others is a prerequisite. A positive/optimistic outlook is also important - as is a willingness to travel. A passion for my musical activities would be wonderful but tolerance would suffice! Allowing me space is also important - at least initially. I have a lot going on in my life and a lot of good friends who have supported me since my husband died and throughout the pandemic - I don't want to feel pressured to drop them in order to pursue a new relationship - I'm looking for someone who understands this and accepts that it will take time to establish a new status quo.
