About him
I'm artistic and creative. I currently own my own business (16+ years). I've done everything from stone carving to woodworking to framing. I can fix damn near anything. I love gear head stuff, cars and bikes. I have been a musician most of my life, I play bass, and guitar and drums (but not so well).
Not sure where this might fit but.... while I love my customers and the shop, being retail means you are chained to the hours. Oddly everyone else gets vacations and sick days, NOT retail. If you close for a couple of days sick people think you went out of business. Knowing that IS the reality. I'm considering what to do. I'm working towards a business that could be run out of my Garage (shop) or from the RV on the road. I've settled in on buying a CNC router (24"x 18") for cutting, routing and carving. Anything from signs, to pet goodies. Also a Full Spectrum Laser(20" x 12") for engraving, cutting and doing photo work. Almost unlimited possibilities.
So...... what mention it here? If you are are artistic or creative and the possibilities appeal to you....... who knows.
