I'd love to hit the Portland Art Museum or First Thursday with you, go out for dinner and dancing, enjoy a weekend of romance and passion at the coast, go for a hike in the gorge, take a picnic wine tasting in the red hills of Dundee, try out the hottest new restaurant on the East side, go a little crazy at a concert, catch a college football or Blazer game live or at a sports bar, make drinks and watch a movie in front of the fireplace, take a trip to somewhere beautiful and exotic, drive halfway across the country and back just for fun, or try something entirely new and thrilling! I'm an artist but a very financially responsible one. That means I've had a successful career as a designer and am now a manager at a web design firm - art is a sideline that I 'm passionate about. I'm also passionate about being in shape and living a healthy lifestyle and am only interested in someone who does the same. I hiked 55 miles in the 10 days leading up to my 55th birthday last October - I like to push myself a little at times. Besides hiking, I also average 3-4 trips to the gym weekly to keep up my physique, which I take pride in.
I was married 28 years and helped raise two incredible daughters who are now in their mid-twenties. I'm ultimately looking for the right woman to spend the next wonderful, romantic and passionate 28 plus with. However, I'm not in a hurry and am enjoying the journey along the way. When it comes to dating I'm a grown up with a teenager's belief in true love! I'm a big believer in chemistry, but don't think it has to smack me between the eyes on our first date. Just because I don't see fireworks the first time we meet (although we could - who knows?!) doesn't make me believe they can't be there on the third, fourth or fifth date. As for sex I'm happy to admit I love it, but I'm looking for more so can be patient with that, as well.

I'm searching for someone for whom creativity is an intrinsic part of their make up. Since I take very good care of myself physically, I also want the same from anyone I date. That said, it's very important that we can accept one another for who we already are. No one is perfect, but please don't be overly dramatic, needy, jealous, or have any major issues.
