About him
I'm a dreamer and idealist, but I think I have a balanced and objective view of things. I do many different things professionally and I'd say I'm proud of most of them, though none is perfect. How many people can truthfully (but modestly) say they've been living an interesting life? It's cool to be one of those people. I'm somehow very ambitious and not ambitious at all, or put another way, I have very big goals and at the same time I often daydream about living in the countryside or devoting my life to nothing more than exploring the world and absorbing ideas. I'm a filmmaker, screenwriter, teacher and software designer. I'm also an avid traveler, have lived all over the US and Europe, and have spent extensive time in the Middle East. I love spending time with people and discovering new perspectives. I'm drawn to creative and intellectual things, partly because of how my brain is wired and partly because the world needs reform, beauty, and self-reflection.

I'm looking for someone creative, open-minded, and mature, with a great sense of humor. And by that I mean the ability to laugh and not take life too seriously, except for times when it should be taken seriously. Compassion and warmth are also important. I feel close to people who have strong convictions about life, family, politics, art, philosophy... but are also flexible and know how to listen. Serious conversations are great, as are silly ones.
