About her
I’m kind, fun, intelligent, loyal and loving. I love my family & friends, career, outdoors... I'm very fortunate to enjoy close relationships with my family and great friends and a job I love. I enjoy my independence, autonomy and self-sufficiency but am also very comfortable with commitment and will do so whole-heartedly to the right person. I have a big heart and a lot of love to give. At the same time, it'd be nice to have someone to lean on from time to time.
Anyhow, here are a few things that make me happy and smile, in no particular order - roasts, starry skies, bluebell woods, arriving home, crisps, snow, babies, lie ins, Christmas, kindness, fireworks, cuddles, pasta, labradors, swimming in the sea, thoughtfulness, a quiz, cake, cards in post, West Highlands, laughter, talking, French markets, making people laugh, my dog, coffee, my many awesome friends.
I also love history, travel, music, reading, cooking and am learning to like gardening. I love meeting people and seem to get on with a great variety of person. I love talking to the older and younger generations as I always want to be learning and curious and interested in others.
And a few things I don't like, also in no particular order - driving when it's dark and raining, liver (but yes to fois gras, sorry), getting up, moths, bats, racism, sexism, intolerance, losing at Uno (rare), bad gravy, road rage, washing my hair, struggling to think of more things, which is a good thing? I love/hate skiing - but the mountains, snow and the lunches are awesome :)
