About him
I am a writer and a lit professor, recently moved to the Boston area. Because I have many students in Boston, I won't post a photo on this site, but if anyone is interested, if you write to me (or if I write to you) I will send links to sites where there are recent photos of me on the web. I am fairly athletic and have always been in good shape. Going to the gym is one passion. My other passion is the performing arts--all forms, low brow and high. I love live music, classical and rock, film, and maybe my favorite Sunday afternoon activity is live theater.
I have been an empty nester for 5 years and counting, except for holidays. But my son graduated from college this spring and soon will take off--as my daughter has already--to start his own life. In the midst of the big transition, I try to fill the space by doing fun things!
