About him
Hi - I'm a relaxed, fun loving FE lecturer/manager by day and a sometime record spinner and music journalist by night. I'm honest, straightforward, laidback, whimsical and occasionally witty.
I love music (folk/rockabilly/reggae/techno/post punk/soul/electronica/modern classical) and think that Radio - especially 3 ,4 and 6 may be the best thing the human race has ever produced.
Unsurprisingly like everyone else on here, I enjoy art galleries, the cinema, markets, walking the canals of London, cliff walking on the Isle of Wight, literature, history and the autumn/spring and the pleasure of fine Dim Sum and cocktails. I am trying to get back into jogging at the moment to minimise the effects of the cocktails.
I also think old pubs are always better than the swankiest bar in Dalston and enjoy a Sunday afternoon pint more than a Saturday Club night.
Some random facts.
I was once mistaken for a seal by a friend - I was wearing a wetsuit at the time and sitting at the base of a cliff. Needles to say, I don't eat raw fish or bleat in an unattractive way.
I have appeared in CrimeWatch reconstruction, I was a mute witness at the scene of a hit and run accident. For this tour de force of method acting I was paid the princely sum of 20 pounds
